The software is pretty flexible, with a lot of templates and automation combined with a lot of manual tools to customise layouts, text and images. You can go with several different look and feels, although I found a lot of these a little distracting and although would have been good for a book of family memories, I would have appreciated some simpler, sleeker designs for professional use.
I took a very manual approach to the design, using some of the layout templates, of which there are many many options, as a basis. It was easy to create what I wanted and I didn't feel like the software got in the way at all of what I was trying to create.
The product itself is fantastic. I chose the black leather binding, acrylic cover matt paper and no box, but there are a number of different options to customise the creation and materials of the book. The printing quality is fantastic, with good quality paper and the colour reproduction being spot on from what I was seeing on my computer screen. I also love the acrylic cover, it is quite a unique feature and really sets the book apart. I would definitely recommend using Saal - check them out at http://www.saal-digital.co.uk

That's all for now

]]>So everything is now up and running with the site and more photos have been uploaded so please feel free to take a look around! Aside from that, recently Lumiere London has rolled back into town. For those that haven't heard of it, the centre of London is covered in unique light-based artworks, from the strangely hypnotic to the bright and loud. Unfortunately it rained a lot of the weekend, but I still managed to get some shots.
Thanks for your visit, I hope you found something you like!
